You can hike to the Fairy Pools anytime during the year. During the summer months (and if you are brave enough) you can also swim in the beautiful water! Just make sure to check the weather forecast as you will be exposed to the weather conditions for the whole time as there is nowhere to hide in case of rain and storms!
Why are they called Fairy Pools?
Surprise: there is no myth or legend associated with this place (wait, what?)! It is thought that the name ‘Fairy’ simply comes from the crystal clear colours of these waters and the sense of magic that comes from them. So yeah, no one has actually seen a fairy bathing here (bummer!).
